Year 4 and 5’s trip to the Antarctic Centre!

20170502_120110.jpg

Our trip to the Antarctic Centre was so fun because we learnt so much stuff about Antarctica and global warming. We also got to go into the storm room where we got to experience a summer storm in Antarctica. We also learnt lots of facts about Antarctica. For example we learnt that there are no polar bears in Antarctica! When we went to the Antarctic Centre we also went on the Hagglunds. Did you know that the New Zealand Hagglunds are green with white stripes? When we were there we saw the penguins getting fed. It was so cute! The penguins are only there if they're hurt or sick. They are the small penguins because they are the little blue penguins and the white flippered penguins.
