Alice's 100wc Week #22

It was Friday night and I was going to Lulu’s house for a sleepover. We were watching a movie. We had popcorn, lollies and chocolate. We were laughing so hard I turned red like a tomato. Then during the movie someone did a really bad dab! Lulu and I cracked up laughing. Then we had a drink of Sprite. After that one of the characters in the movie said “You must be joking me.” That made us crack up! Then Lulu’s Sprite came out her nose! After the movie we went on youtube and we saw really funny fails! We didn’t realise that it was 2:00 in the morning! Then we went to bed. We slept in till 6:00 in the morning! We were knackered! So we went back to sleep.

Sarah 100wc Week #22

Birthday disaster   

One day I woke up I had the biggest grin you could ever imagine.

It was like bigger then my face! It was my favourite day, it was my                birthday. I was so excited I sprinted down the stairs but half way down the stairs I face planted. My sister was at the bottom of the stairs I saw her face fill up with  laughter.

“Grace!It isn't funny, that really hurt. Maybe you should try it! Ok I just want to open my presents now. Mum can I open my presents?”

“Shure. Wait!! What happened to you Sarah?” Mum asked.

“I just fell down the stairs but I’ll be fine.”

“Sarah, look at me for a minute, your face is blue!” Grace shouted.

“YAAAAAAAAA!” I screamed.

Charlotte C's 100wc Week #22

My sister is the joke queen, she tells the worst jokes. Her name is Izzie. She is saying jokes like knock knock jokes and they are boring. It is all because of the laughter pill she takes. The pill makes her laugh and be really silly. She is so weird so one day I swapped her pill. The next day she ate the pill and then Izzie said for me to stand right in front of her room to test her bad boring useless jokes on me. The pill did not work! It was good she was back to normal but she did not like it when Mum found out and told her. I got grounded for 4 months! I was so sad.

My mum makes the best jokes. Some of the best ones are:  

It's a one storey house, everything is red ,what colour are the stairs? I

t's a one story house, there are no stairs!

And why did the koala fall out of the tree?

Because it was dead.

Why did the second koala fall out of the tree?

Because it was hit by the second koala.

Why did the third koala fall out of the tree?

Because he thought it was a game so he joined in.

But the worst one she’s said is: why did the chicken  cross the road to the park?

To get to the other slide.

Laughter

There is an old man who is boring and gloomy

But one ordinary day the miracle happened…

He put on his happy face

He opened the windows and danced like it was a competition

He didn't realize little Meg was giggly

Then Abby did too

Not long after that the whole neighborhood was giggly

The man felt happy

He spread joy

The next day he went to the movies

There was a movie called The Bloopers

He was sooo going to watch it

There was dancers falling over

One of them was even off a pig

There was a girl being so mean to little Meg  

He did not know how to stand up for her

But he tried and it worked  

They became friends

Whenever one of them were sad

the other would pull funny faces

At each other

They found it hilarious

They could not have had a happier life

You would think life could only get better

But it only got worse

Meg grew up and slowly got a family

He grew old and died

Annabel's 100wc Week #22

Bob’s bad jokes

My brother is called Bob and I do not laugh at any of his jokes (and I only laugh at my dad’s jokes sometimes). But Bob is terrible at jokes! I will tell you one now:

“Knock knock who's there?”

“Chocolate.”

“Chocolate who?”

“Chocolate lover.” but I didn’t laugh at it. Everyday Bob tells me a joke then one day I was in laughter because it was so funny! I couldn’t stop laughing because it was this:

“What do you call a pig that does karate?”

“A pork chop.”

I couldn’t go to school because I was laughing too much I was sick but Bob had to go to school. I stayed home and laughed. After school we went to pick up Bob and I kept being sick. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again!

Izzie - 100wc Week #22

The laughter pill

On the Saturday I felt sick. I told my mum and she called the doctor. “Sorry we have to go to doctor Izzie,” Mum said. If you know me, you’d know I HATE HATE the doctor. So I get dressed and nervously jump into the car. When we arrived we waited in the waiting room. Finally the doctor calls us in. “OMG you have a BAD case of Tickle-itis! You will need to take the most funniest pills in the world,” the doctor informed me. So we get into the car and go to the pharmacy. This is not going to turn out nice, will it? A lady comes over and says “What are you looking for?”

“Hi my kid and I just went to the doctor and he told us that she need the funniest pills in the world.” Mum replied.

“Right I will get them straight away.”

I was waiting and waiting. She finally came and gave me the pills. She said “Take the pills every day and night.”

“Ok, thanks, bye!” I went to bed and the morning I could not stop laughing! “Mum I can’t go to school!”

Juliet's 100wc Week #22

One day in Hardbroom Academy for witches, two witches in training, were studying  for a test which involved potion making. Their names were Matilda Broom and Laura Spellsley. They were best friends. Matilda and Laura were not very well behaved. Laura’s twin sister Willow, was a hard working witch and she knew already how to do early magic. Of course, they were 1st years, which meant they are in Year 1 of Hardbroom Academy.  In their next class, which was potions, they had to make a laughter potion. The potion was supposed to turn green, and after one spoon of the potion they should start to laugh. But Matilda and Laura did not. Their potion turned red, which was rather unexpected and when they took a sip they started to fly around the room out of control! It was like they were flying without a broomstick. The others did not notice because they were laughing so hard! “Laura!!!”screeched Willow, clearly embarrassed.

A: Because it was dead.  Ho Ho!!!!!!!

A: Because it was glued to the other one.  Snort!!!!!!

Sleepover - Mollie's 100wc Week #22

I was at my friends house for a sleepover. We were just heading upstairs to put my stuff in Lucy's room when she just cracked up laughing. I didn't know why but when I looked out the window I saw her brother down in the backyard trying to do a cartwheel but he kept on falling on his stomach, but each time he got up and tried again. He must have a growth mindset I thought to myself. Lucy started tugging on my sleeve, ‘’Come on!’’ she said… Oh! I must've stopped when I was thinking. I walked upstairs to  Lucy's room and I found the spare mattress on the floor and I started to unpack. A couple of hours later I landed on the mattress in  Lucy's room I was so tired. Lucy told me a funny joke and I laughed, I closed my eyes and it all went black. I felt all hazy I was asleep.

Alice's 100wc Week #21

It was New Year's eve and we were staying up till 12. We were eating our roast turkey then...suddenly all the lights went out!  Dad said “It’s probably just a power…”  “BANG!” That is a sound of a gunshot. “Dad I’m scared.” I said looking around. 2 hours passed by and it was 12. Mum said “It’s was time for bed.” So we all went up stairs to get ready for bed. When everybody was asleep I needed to go to the toilet so I went to the toilet and on the toilet I heard not one not two not three but four loud gunshots. I froze I was thinking there was four gunshots and four people other than me in my family is my family dead? I went to go check and yes they were. I blinked and realised it was just a dream.

The dark and gloomy world! Laura's 100wc Week #21

I was walking down a lit hallway and suddenly all the lights went out. The once lightened hallway was now a gloomy lifeless darkened hallway. Everyone that once was happy and smiley was now sad and gloomy. The only person that wasn't was me. I was scared so I ran outside. The once bright and happy world was now dark and gloomy. I Thought I was dreaming so I ran home and went to sleep. When I woke up I tried to turn the lights on but the power was still out and everyone was still gloomy. I waited a few days and suddenly the lights came on and it became bright outside! Everyone became happy again and we all kept on living our lives like nothing happened.

It was time to go to bed.The cabin was sooooo small.

Me and my friends were playing with our torches.

The outside light was on which made our cabin really bright. Mrs Evers came in and growled really loud at us.

We all were scared after that. We all didn't want to go to sleep. We looked at the window and we saw a flash.

Great I whispered there's lightning. It scared us a whole lot more. Bang. Suddenly the lights went out. And then a tree set on fire and set the ground on fire! We got soooooo worried...

The midnight scare - Coco's 100wc Week #21

It was midnight and I turned on my light and decided to go down stairs I turned on all the kitchen lights on and got some chocolate out of the

cupboard suddenly all the lights went out and I saw a tall white figure

wearing a big black suit. I tried running away from it but it teleported in front of me. I tried running the other way but he just teleported in front of me I was scared I tried screaming for help but there was no hope I had forgotten that I was home alone.

Juliet - 100wc Week #21

Suddenly all the lights went out… I ran around terrified thinking I was alone. I did not notice the bats flying around the ceiling. The castle was dark and I was shaking. My dog around my ankles was freaking out, Poppy hated the dark. The candle in my hand had gone out hours ago, so I had been relying on the lights dotted around the castle. Larnach castle was my home. I wanted to see the light and find my parents so we could leave. Then all of a sudden I walked out the door into the sunlight and everything changed.

I was in my room finishing off my work. I was just about to finish but then my computer died. I had checked that it was 100% and it was. Then suddenly all the lights went out… I grabbed my torch and ran out the door and then ran into my mum and dad’s room, and knocked on the door; no one answered. They must be in the laundryroom I thought. I went down to the laundry and they were there I asked about the power, they said that it had run down, and then the power turned on again.

It was a dark Sunday night and my friend calling about school and how the chairs were moving… I felt scared once she called. I was wondering if this was real? I was going to get some popcorn for the movie and then suddenly all the lights went out! I think the power has gone off. But then I heard a noise. ’Is it what I think it is? No it can't be it! I could see two red eyes like at school. What is that? Suddenly the light went on. That was a relief. My mum came in and said is everything alright...

There is a truth not many from skeleton to man. I say every day to myself  I feel a bit different don't you think. Then suddenly all the lights turn off like a fire has burned down all the power lines have gone then it start reminding me of the shadows coming towards me. Then I start to scream as loud as I can like I was daydreaming during class time. I started to creep down the hall wall with a torch so I wont get even more freaked out any more. Then I reach the door I was even more freaked out then I leaned over to reach the door I opened the door like there's was no one there then all the skeletons popped out at me like I was in a dream...

The zzzz sound - Annabel's 100wc Week #21

I was going to bed and I was reading a lovely book. Then the light went  out like this zzzz. I did not know what to do so I started to scream and mum said why are you screaming I can hear you from the office. I said all my lights went out. Then my brother started to giggle and mum said to my brother why are you giggling. My brother said turned the lights off mum got really angry and my brother had to sleep outside with one blanket and he got put outside. I fell asleep straight away. In morning my brother had a frost bite from sleeping outside but he still had to go to school which I still have to go to school as well. Mum do I have to go to school?

Charlotte C - 100wc Week #21

Once I did not do my homework so I got grounded. My mum locked me in my room tight  but then suddenly all the lights went out. I was scared but I climbed out of the window and landed hard on my back on the trampoline. Then I ran into the living room and told them they forgot to come and get me but they were pigging out in the pantry! That is why they forgot to get me and they ate all of the chocolate and it was my chocolate! So I ran to my friends house and she cheered me up by playing until midnight.

The haunted house and Anna - Charlotte L's 100wc Week #21

There is a horrible, stinky, massive, grey haunted house down the road. On the ninth of February I had my BFF Anna over for a sleepover. Anna loved exploring she still does.So she asked if we could go down the road. Obviously said “ye” but just when I was about to finish she ran out the door. I went out and screamed “Anna Anna come back Anna”. I could she her staring up at the massive horrible grey building.I raced up to her and she said “that's what you were talking to me about”. “yep” I whispered back.”Cool it ticks my list of scary. Let's go in” So she opened the door and flicked the lights. They flickered for a second and suddenly all the lights went out.

Everyday life - Mollie's 100wc Week #21

I woke up, it was six in the morning. I got out of bed dragging my feet on the ground. I clicked on the lights...OMG that is so light, it blinds my eyes. I just manage to drag myself down to the bottom of the stairs. What should I should have for breakfast? I ask myself, I know! Toast… as usual. I can hear the garage opening, Dad must be back from his bike ride… OMG it’s Dad’s birthday and we have totally forgot. Maybe we could go to a cafe for brunch, and two of us could go and get him a birthday present? Phewf... I just remembered we're throwing him a surprise birthday party. We all hide ...suddenly the lights went off. We were shocked. I had the lights on a minute ago? We were planning to have one person hide by the lights and then turn them off when we heard him coming...
